  • By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.

  • An order confirmation email does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in British Pounds (£/GBP).

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Payments must be made in full before dispatch.

4. Product Accuracy

We strive to display product colours and details accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including logos, images, and text, is the property of The British Loft and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The British Loft shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use of our products.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing The British Loft. We are committed to providing a reliable and efficient delivery service across the United Kingdom. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

1. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Please note that orders are not processed, dispatched, or delivered on weekends or UK Bank Holidays.

In the event of a high volume of orders, processing may take slightly longer. We will notify you via email if there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We proudly partner with DHL to ensure your items arrive safely. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your DHL tracking number. You can track your parcel's journey directly on the DHL website. Tracking information usually becomes active within 24 hours of dispatch.

4. Delivery Areas

We deliver to all addresses within the United Kingdom. Please be aware that deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands may incur slightly longer transit times.

5. Missing or Damaged Items

The British Loft is dedicated to customer satisfaction.

  • Damages: If your order arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the item and contact us immediately.

  • Missing Parcels: If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please check with neighbours or safe places before contacting us at thebrithisloft@gmail.com within 48 hours.

6. Incorrect Delivery Address

Please ensure all delivery details are correct at checkout. The British Loft cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a redelivery is required due to an address error, additional shipping fees may apply.

Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping at The British Loft. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, we are here to help.

Our Return & Refund Policy is designed to be fair, simple, and transparent, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1. Right to Cancel (14-Day "Cooling-Off" Period)

In line with UK law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items for any reason, even if you just change your mind.

This is a legal statutory right. We do not require a reason, but it must be communicated within this timeframe.

  • To Exercise Your Right to Cancel: Please notify us of your decision by email at thebrithisloft@gmail.com within the 14-day period.

2. General Return Period

Beyond the 14-day cooling-off period, we also accept standard returns up to 30 days from the date you received the item, subject to the conditions below.

3. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a full refund (excluding return shipping costs), the item must meet the following conditions:

  • Condition: The item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all original tags attached.

  • Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: A copy of the order confirmation or original receipt must be included.

Items that cannot be returned (Non-Refundable):

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers).

  • Personalized or custom-made items.

  • Items that have been worn (for hygiene reasons, such as earrings, undergarments, swimwear), unless faulty.

  • Sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons.

  • Digital downloads.

4. How to Start a Return

To begin the return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Email Us: Send an email to thebrithisloft@gmail.com with your Order Number and the details of the item(s) you wish to return. Please indicate if you are exercising your right to cancel within the 14-day window or a standard return.

  2. Approval: We will review your request and, if approved, will provide you with a Return Authorization and the specific Return Address.

  3. Pack Safely: Securely pack the item in its original packaging.

  4. Ship: You are responsible for shipping the item back to us. We recommend using a tracked service with insurance to ensure the safe arrival of your return, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (The Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a legal right to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

  • Within 30 Days of Delivery: If you discover a fault within the first 30 days of receiving the goods, you are entitled to a full refund.

  • After 30 Days and Within 6 Months: If a fault is found after 30 days but within 6 months, you are generally entitled to a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not possible or unsuccessful, you may then request a partial or full refund.

What to do: If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at thebrithisloft@gmail.com. To help us process your request quickly, please provide the following in your email:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. Clear photos of the damaged or faulty item, including the packaging, if that is also damaged.

  3. A brief description of the issue or damage, detailing what occurred.

We will arrange the return (often providing a pre-paid label) and ensure a full refund, repair, or replacement.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email notifying you of its receipt and whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment.

  • Timeline: Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Right to Cancel (Change of Mind): You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

  • Faulty/Incorrect Items: We will cover the return shipping costs by either providing a pre-paid label or reimbursing your reasonable shipping expenses (proof required).
